Capturing a technological milestone this ambitious takes more than just a sharp eye.
For the very first production flight of the Global 8000, Bombardier entrusted Studio Kay with the mission of documenting a historic moment in business aviation. Between the runways of Pearson and Waterloo, a seasoned crew of 12 specialists, including 4 photographers and 8 videographers, worked across key locations to capture the event from every angle.

It’s not every day you witness the birth of the fastest civil aircraft since the Concorde.
With a top speed of Mach 0.94 and an impressive range of 8,000 nautical miles, the Global 8000 is redefining the benchmarks of performance, comfort, and connectivity.

On the ground, the challenges were just as ambitious: shifting weather conditions, tight schedules, and strict aviation security protocols. Studio Kay integrated seamlessly into the operation as an agile partner. From the earliest planning hours, our team adapted to the fast-paced rhythm of the aerospace industry, combining logistical precision with visual creativity.

This project was also marked by a close collaboration with Bombardier’s in-house studio, including their videographers and post-production team. Together, we joined forces to deliver a smooth, cohesive production that lived up to the brand’s world-class standards.
