Filmed in Sherbrooke, the short videos feature three key players in this ecosystem, DistriQ, the University of Sherbrooke’s Quantum Institute, and Nord Quantique. Through their testimonials and a tour of their facilities, the project brings a human face to a field often perceived as abstract. This collaboration and the participating organizations were publicly presented by Elexpertise
The editorial approach is rooted in the questions that the next generation might ask, What is quantum science? What is it like to work in this sector? What educational paths lead to careers in this field? The discussions cover the applications of quantum sciences, career paths, and the role of women in the field, with the goal of helping the public envision their own path.
To translate these topics into accessible content, Studio Kay combines on-site filming, interviews, and motion design. The project encompasses adapting the concept, developing scripts, preparing for filming, and post-producing three short videos, as well as creating vertical versions of them.
“Unlock Your Potential 2” thus pursues a concrete goal, to spark curiosity and enable future talent to envision themselves in Quebec’s quantum research communities and companies.
