An inspired director, Cristina Martins wants, in turn, to inspire others through her work. Her rich professional experience brings a singular perspective that blends rhythm and dramatic storytelling.

In her work, she seeks to capture reality in its unfolding, its emotions, its dizzying moments, immersing herself in the living environments around her and creatively embracing whatever surroundings present themselves.

Cristina began her career in television and music videos. Drawing on that experience, she moved into advertising, a field in which she has been working for many years. In 2012, Cristina directed her first short film, Par Avion, selected for official competition at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Inspired by that success, she went on to direct a second short film, Les chiens ne font pas des chats, and is currently developing a feature-length screenplay.
